This year, the NAMI Tennessee Vision of Hope Gala will return to the Rhinestone stage at the Glen Campbell Museum in Nashville, Tennessee on May 10th, 2022 for an In-Person and Virtual Event.
Each year, our Vision of Hope Awards and Courage to Share Honor are given for exemplary service by individuals who have demonstrated commitment, perseverance, and caring for those impacted by mental health conditions.

Our Vision of Hope Award honorees this year are Commissioner Marie Williams and Dr. William Petrie, champions in helping individuals and families impacted by mental illness.

This year, the NAMI Tennessee Vision of Hope Gala will return to the Glen Campbell Museum in Nashville, Tennessee on May 10th, 2022 for an In-Person and Virtual Event. Each year, our Vision of Hope awards are given in honor of exemplary service by individuals who have demonstrated commitment, perseverance, and caring. Our Courage to Share Award is given to an individual that rises above stigma to inspire others.
Mental health affects everybody. During the COVID-19 pandemic, concerns about mental health and substance use have grown and NAMI Tennessee has responded. Your corporate support enables us to continue to innovate and expand our services which are offered throughout Tennessee without charge utilizing our professional staff, a network of 20 local affiliates, and hundreds of trained volunteers. With your support we will continue to expand our efforts to make life better for those impacted by mental health conditions.
About NAMI Tennessee
Nearly 60 million Americans experience a mental health condition every year. It affects at least one in four adults and one in ten children across the United States. NAMI advocates for access to services, treatment, support, and research and is steadfast in its commitment to raise awareness and build a community of hope for all those in need.
NAMI Tennessee leads:
- Peer taught family education classes and support groups
- Teen mental health awareness and suicide prevention
- Dynamic online videos and content to promote mental health awareness
- Diverting those in mental health crisis from jail to treatment
