Healing for Humphreys

Join NAMI Tennessee in support of mental health crisis response in Humphreys County.

As Executive Director of NAMI Tennessee (NAMI TN), I think and talk a great deal about mental health and encourage self-care, and even more so during the pandemic. In fact, my own self-care plan includes weekly trips to the Wildlife Refuge in New Johnsonville where I take photos of the wildlife. To get there I journey through McEwen and hard hit Waverly. Having spent so much time there enjoying the outdoors and viewing the amazing birds and wildlife, I want to help as many people do. I hope that you will join me in helping those in need.

Here is how you can join NAMI TN in support of mental health crisis response in Humphreys County:
NAMI Tennessee has partnered with Centerstone, a mental health center serving Humphreys, Dickson, and nearby counties. NAMI Tennessee is seeking donations which will be distributed to clients and families of Centerstone. 100% of all funds collected by NAMI Tennessee will be forwarded to assist those in need through the Centerstone Cares Fund.

We want to thank you

To show appreciation for any donation received, donors will receive a digital photo such as the pictures here which you can use as a screen saver, print, or share on social media along with a stamp that says “I helped Humphreys.”

The CARES Fund

The CARES Fund is a critical fund for Centerstone clients. Many individuals served are vulnerable, working hard to find their path to recovery and wellness, while amidst other challenges – like seeking a permanent home, caring for their family, seeking employment, etc. The CARES (Client Assistance and Resources for Essential Supports) Fund provides immediate support to clinicians for their clients to help remove Social Determinants of Health, keeping the path open for optimal recovery.
