FAMILY QUESTIONS:
What are the mental health needs of veterans' families?
Summary Statements of Responses
1. Counseling is needed for the deployment and reintegration of families 
Support services needed for families of soldiers with PTSD
Teach resiliency to youth 
Spouses don't want their careers endangered by families needing help
Marital, family and individual counseling
2. Service awareness and needs assessment for offpost families
  Families need to know what is available both on and off the base
There needs to be one service portal for families to go to see what is available
Long waits and long distances to treatment  are a deterent to help
3. Use Existing Programs
Make use of current programs such as NAMI's In our Own Voice (IOOV)
   and NAMI Beginnings
Keeping family and caregivers in the loop especially important in TBI treatment
Listen to families when making evaluations
4. Getting Info out on Services
Information not getting out to the needy
Need to find ways to reach vets
